Sifu Snake

Luke has always enjoyed the detail of life. What has sat him apart in Kung Fu though, is that he also enjoyed performing the exact and precise technique! This is the quintessential aspect of the Shaolin Snake Style. Luke started with Shaolin Kung Fu Australia in the spring of 1996. He was a quiet, slim, wiry and incredibly strong and quick lad. He enjoyed the simple and intense nature of Shaolin Kung Fu practice. He enjoyed doing the strongest Horse Stances, the most precise of punches, the most accurate blocks.

He transferred this love for Kung Fu into forms, demonstrating in competitions his ability to dominate and win from his first entry. Although only for a short time of about 18 months he won or placed in every competition he entered winning state and national titles. Some of the highlights of Luke's almost 10 years of Kung Fu training with Liang-I are;

• 1998 Australian Men's Novice Forms Champion
• 1998 State Men's Novice Sparring Champion
• 1000th Class 1 Mar 2005
• Best of Gradingg Staff 1 & 2 April 2005
• Accredited Grader L1 April 2005
• Regular Teaching in Weaponry May 2005

From all of these achievements, possibly one of the best is within the club. If anyone wants to see a form demonstrated in the best possible way, most correctly and dynamically, they go and ask Sifu Luke first!
